Equestrian
Italy had three competitors at the first Olympic equestrian events. The names of two are known. Trissino competed twice in the high jump, on different horses, as well as jumping. Di Modrone competed in the long jump and jumping, and appears to have competed in the high jump twice as well.[2] A third Italian competed in jumping and, most likely, the high jump.
