Júlio Duarte Langa

Júlio Duarte Langa (born 27 October 1927) is a prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He is the Archbishop Emeritus of Xai-Xai, Mozambique, where he served as Bishop from 24 October 1976 until his retirement on 12 July 2004.

On 4 January 2015, Pope Francis announced that he would make him a cardinal on 14 February.[1] At that ceremony, he was assigned the titular church of San Gabriele dell'Addolorata.[2]
