LaJourdain J. Birden Sr. (born June 16, 1965) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 8th round of the 1988 NFL Draft.
A 5'10", 157-lb. wide receiver, Birden graduated from Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon and the University of Oregon.[1] He played in 9 NFL seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons from 1988 to 1996.

- 1985: 3 catches for 39 yards
- 1987: 19 catches for 399 yards and 1 TD; his QB was Bill Musgrave
After football
Following his football career, Birden became an executive for Team X 88, a distributor of Isagenix health and wellness products. He's also a keynote speaker and now a bestselling author with his new book When Opportunity Knocks 8 Sure Fire Ways to Take Advantage! He is married to his wife Raina and they have eight children (3 biological and 5 nieces and nephews). Currently they live in Scottsdale.[1]
In 2010 JJ was inducted into the University of Oregon Athletic Hall of Fame for the Ducks 1985 Track and Field NCAA Championship team.
