J. Elmer Lehr
Joseph Elmer Lehr was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate.
Biography
Lehr was born on December 26, 1868 in Marengo Township, Michigan.[1] He graduated from the Illinois College of Law. In 1895, he moved to Clintonville, Wisconsin. He moved to Appleton, Wisconsin in 1901. Lehr married Emma Alvina Groth[2] in 1907.
Career
Lehr was a member of the Senate from 1909 to 1912.[3] Previously, he was City Attorney of Clintonville and Chairman of the Outagamie County, Wisconsin Republican Party.
