J. Martin (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Martin's batting style is unknown.
Martin made his first-class debut for Manchester against Sheffield in 1846 at Hyde Ground Park, Sheffield. He made a second first-class fixture in that season in the return fixture between the sides at Moss Lane, Manchester.[1] In his two first-class matches, he scored a total of 13 runs at an average of 4.33, with a high score of 11.[2]
