J. W. Walsh is an American football quarterback for the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team.[1]
Early life
Walsh played at Guyer High School in Denton, Texas, where he was coached by his father John and reached the University Interscholastic League state finals his senior year.
Collegiate career
2011
Walsh was redshirted and played no games.
2012
Walsh began the season as backup to starting quarterback Wes Lunt. On several occasions early in the year he played as running back. Walsh threw for 13 touchdowns with 3 interceptions and rushed for 7 additional touchdowns.
2013
Walsh played in eight games. Walsh threw for 9 touchdowns with 5 interceptions and rushed for 3 additional touchdowns.
2014
Walsh played in two games before getting injured in the second with an injury that kept him out the rest of the season. Walsh threw for 1 touchdown with 1 interception and rushed for 2 additional touchdowns.
2015
Walsh threw for 13 touchdowns with 1 interception and rushed for 13 additional touchdowns.
