'Fiery' Jack Austin is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s and '70s, playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity, Castleford, Bradford Northern, and Bramley, as a wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.[1][2][3]
Playing career
BBC2 Floodlit Trophy final appearances
Jack Austin played Left-wing, i.e. number 5, and scored a try in Castleford's 7-2 victory over Swinton in the 1966 BBC2 Floodlit Trophy final during the 1966–67 season at Wheldon Road, Castleford on Tuesday 20 December 1966, and played Left-wing, and scored a try in Bramley's 15-7 victory over Widnes in the 1973 BBC2 Floodlit Trophy final during the 1973–74 season at Naughton Park, Widnes on Tuesday 18 December 1973.
