Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon is the focal point of Songdo IBD's environmentally focused green space program. It is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Nicklaus Design.[1] The club hosted the 2015 Presidents Cup, the first time the event was held in Asia.[2]
From the tournament tees, the course is more than 7,300 yards, presenting a challenge to even the most talented golfers.[3] Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea hosted a 2010 Champions Tour event, the Posco E&C Songdo Championship, which is Asia's first Champions Tour event.[4]
Within the golf course, there will be a Western-style fairway community including 179 detached single family villas.[1]
