Jack Syperek (born September 25 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian musician who is best known as the bassist for the rock group The Trews.[1] He is a long-time friend to brothers Colin and John-Angus MacDonald and formed the group with them in 1998.
Syperek's father Victor Syperek owns several bars in Halifax, and formerly owned Halifax's Marquee Club, in which the Trews played frequently. They often referred to the club as their "home" stage. He also enjoys wearing various stylish hats.
