Jacki Gemelos (born November 22, 1988) is an American professional basketball player. She plays for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA and Perfumerias Avenida in Spain.
Gemelos was a highly recruited player coming into college at USC, but was hampered by five knee injuries during her high school and college career. Nevertheless, the Minnesota Lynx drafted her in 2012 in the 3rd round.[1] Gemelos was signed to the team in April 2013, and was expected to compete for a roster spot.[2] Gemelos was released by the team prior to the start of the 2013 season.
USA Basketball
Gemelos played on the team presenting the USA at the 2011 World University Games held in Shenzhen, China. The team won all six games to earn the gold medal. Gemelos was tied for third for assists on the team, with 11 over the course of the tournament. Gemelos averaged 4.8 points per game.[3]
