Jacob Louis Hazel (born 15 April 1994) is an English footballer who is currently plays for Frickley Athletic.

Career

Chesterfield

He made his debut on 4 September 2012, in a 2–1 win at home to Oldham Athletic in the Football League Trophy, replacing Scott Boden in the 64th minute.[2] He made his league debut four days later in a 2–2 draw away to York City.[3] He made home league debut on 29 September as a substitute, replacing Craig Westcarr in the 89th minute of a 1–1 draw against Torquay United.[4] He was released by Chesterfield on 13 May 2014.

Sprint-Jeløy (loan)

Hazel joined Sprint-Jeløy on loan in June 2013, for six months.

Buxton (loan)

Hazel spent a months loan with Derbyshire club Buxton.

Bradford Park Avenue (loan)

On 7 February 2014, Hazel linked up with Bradford Park Avenue on a one-month loan deal.

Non-League

On 19 March 2014, Hazel joined Northern Premier League side FC United of Manchester on loan for the rest of the 2013–14 season.[5] He then joined them on for the 2014-15 season.[6]

In October 2014 he joined Mickleover Sports from Ashton United.[7]

In August 2015 he joined Frickley Athletic.[8]

International career

He was on the bench for the Saint Kitts and Nevis national football team in the two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification CONCACAF Second Round matches against El Salvaor in June 2015.[9]

Personal life

His father Des Hazel is a former footballer who played at professional levels for Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby Town, Rotherham United and Chesterfield.
