Jacou (Occitan: Jacon) is a commune in the Hérault département in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France.
Population
In 2012, the town had 5 658 inhabitants. The evolution of the number of inhabitants is known through the population censuses carried out in the town since 1793. From of the 21st century, censuses of the towns of less than 10 000 inhabitants take place every five years, unlike other cities that have a sample survey each year.
