Jade Kathleen Sharif (born June 1999 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England) is an actress who began her career as a background dancer in a 2004 theatre production, titled Beauty and the Beast, which took place at the Royal Court Theatre in London. She has also played Rebecca Miller in EastEnders from 2005 until 2007. After leaving EastEnders, Sharif starred as Lucy Appleton in Fallen Angel, a three-part drama series on ITV that aired in January 2008. After this, it was revealed that she had given up on acting to focus on her school work, in the hope that she will become a doctor in the future.
