Jelbang is a village development committee in Rolpa District in the Rapti Zone of northeastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2945 people living in 477 individual households.From where, 73 people were sacrificed their life in the Civil War(1996-2006).Now, Jelbang village is becoming a "Model Peace Village", and "Village of Martyrs". Jelbang village is situated at southern part of the Jaljala Mountain.[1]
