Jakhauli
Jakhauli is a Hightech Adarsh village in Sonepat district, Haryana state, India. This is at situated 5 km from the bisva-meel (20th milestone National Highway-1) chowk which is on NH1 and just 12 km from the North-West Delhi-Haryana border which is known as Singhu Border. There is a branch of UCO Bank and one post office. There is one Government Primary Health Centre Hospital with Operation Theatre, Veterinary Hospital, Gaushalla, Government Society, BSNL Telephone Exchange, Government Boys Senior Secondary School and GGSS School,Nine aanganvadi Center;One Rajiv Gandhi Panchayt Bhawan; Ujjawal Sr. Sc. Three Engineering Colleges are in progress & recently SRM University has been opened near Jakhauli. Above 4 km. Nearest IGI College. Demographics
According to census of 2011,[1] there are 1460 families residing in the village. Total population of the village is 8259, out of which 4388 are males while 3871 are females. children within age range 0–6 years, constitutes the 12.87% (1063) of the total population.
Average Sex Ratio of Jakhauli village is 882 which is higher than Haryana state average of 879. on the other hand Child Sex Ratio for the Jakhauli as per census is 802, lower than Haryana average of 834. Literacy rate of Jakhauli village was 79.60% compared to 75.55% of Haryana. In Jakhauli Male literacy stands at 89.36% while female literacy rate was 68.69%.

Migratory Birds
Cattle egert which is known as Bagula in hindi is the main bird which visits the village annually around June. These birds builds their nests mostly on Acacia karoo (kikar) tree, so that they can get most of sunlight for their eggs. they migrate from the village on start of winter season.
