Jakub Vrána (born February 28, 1996) is a Czech professional ice hockey Centre.[1] He is currently playing for the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Capitals in the first round (13th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

He made his Elitserien debut playing with Linköpings HC during the 2012–13 season.[2] After the 2014 draft, Vrana signed his first NHL contract with the Capitals, on a three-year entry level deal on July 15, 2014.[3]
