James Blanding Sloan (September 19, 1886 – October 5, 1975), also known as Blanding Sloan, was an American illustrator, engraver, set designer and painter.^{[1][2][3][4][5][6]}

Early life

He was born in Corsicana, Texas.^[7] He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.^[7]
