James Cox Chambers (born 1956/57) is an American billionaire heir.

Early life

He is the son of Anne Cox Chambers, and the grandson of the newspaper publisher James M. Cox. As of March 2016, his net worth is $6.4 billion.[2]

Chambers graduated from Bard College in 1982.[3]

Career

Chambers is an actor, dancer, and choreographer. Chambers appeared in the in the 1984 film Alphabet City.[4][5]

Wealth

In 2015, Anne Cox Chambers distributed her 49% share in Cox Enterprises equally between her three children, Katharine Rayner, Margaretta Taylor, and James Cox Chambers.[1]

Personal life

In 1982, Chamber married fellow Bard College alumna and actress Lauren Hamilton, the daughter of James Cox Hamilton and Margaret Hamilton, both of Cambridge, Massachusetts.[6]
