James Dinsdale

James Dinsdale was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Dinsdale was born on November 18, 1838, in Yorkshire, England.[1] He moved to the United States with his parents in 1849, settling in Grant County, Wisconsin. Dinsdale attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Lawrence University. In 1878, he began practicing medicine in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin.[2]

Political career

Dinsdale was elected to the Assembly in 1902.[3] Previously, he had been chairman of the Board of Crawford County, Wisconsin, and president of Soldiers Grove. He was a Republican.
