James Plimmer (birth registered April→June 1901[1] — death unknown) birth registered in Pontefract district, was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s and 1930s, playing at club level for Castleford.[2]

James Plimmer played in Castleford's victory in the Yorkshire League during the 1932–33 season.[3]
