James Rigby

James Rigby is Chief Executive of SCC, Rigby Group’s IT services business. Under his leadership Europe’s biggest independent technology solutions provider has grown rapidly, repeatedly achieving double-digit growth.[1]

Rigby joined SCC in 1993 in the Engineering Services division, and was appointed to run the Technology Sourcing division in 1995. Subsequently, he was made General Manager[2] and has taken on responsibility for service delivery operations across Europe and playing a major role in all Group acquisitions.[3] He now heads SCC’s operations in the UK, France, Spain, Romania and the Netherlands, and has a track record as an investor in gold standard facilities and green technology and works with a range of household name brands and government organizations.

Rigby's tenure in charge of SCC has seen the company become the first UK provider to receive Pan-Government accreditation for its public sector cloud services platform OptimiseCloudâ„¢ - enabling the Group to provide a new generation of secure, flexible solutions to government and public sector bodies.
