Jaime Kevaghn "Jamie" Robba (born 26 October 1991) is a Gibraltarian footballer who plays for the Gibraltar national team as a goalkeeper.

Career

Robba began his career at St Joseph's F.C. where he went through the youth system until he moved to Spain to play for Atlético Zabal Linense. He played for the "Juvenil A" team for two years. After graduating as a senior player, he then moved to Atlético Zabal Linense's parent club, Real Balompédica Linense but was immediately loaned out to UD Castellar, where he played as first choice. Following his recall to Real Balompédica Linense, he was part of the first team squad as third choice and played with the "B" team. In 2013, after Gibraltar's acceptance into UEFA, Robba joined Lynx F.C. as part of their unsuccessful campaign to qualify for the Europa League, finishing in mid-table, and subsequently moved to College Europa for their Europa League campaign.

Robba spent a season with College Europa, in which they finished second and won the league cup. He also had the personal achievement of being the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in that season. Following the 2014-15 season, Robba terminated his contract at Europa. Numerous rumours of deals with US Le Pontet and Lokomotiv Plovdiv followed, and it was confirmed in July 2015 that he would sign with Le Pontet on a two year contract. However, in December 2015 he rejoined Lynx.

International career

Robba made his international debut in the 1-0 victory against Malta but didn't play for the national side again until the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier against the Republic of Ireland national football team, coming on for Jordan Perez with Gibraltar already 7-0 down. He managed to keep a personal clean sheet as Ireland failed to score since his introduction. After this, he started in the 3-0 defeat to Georgia and notably against Germany, where he made a string of impressive stops to restrict the world champions to a 4-0 victory - a relative success for the amateur Gibraltar squad. He then has two more appearances against Scotland and Croatia, but was dropped in Gibraltar's second game against the world champions Germany.
