Seoul Sports Complex
Seoul Sports Complex (Korean: 서울종합운동장), also known as Jamsil Sports Complex(Korean: 잠실종합운동장) is a group of sports facilities in Songpa-gu in Seoul, Korea. This was built for 1986 Seoul Asian Games and 1988 Seoul Summer Olympic from December 1976 to September 1984. This Complex is Korea's largest integrated sports center, spanning an area of 402,816㎡. The complex consists of the Olympic Stadium, Auxiliary Stadium, Jamsil Arena, Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Jamsil Indoor Swimming Pool, Jamsil Inline Skating Rink and the Sports Park.
The Olympic Stadium is rich in history, as it successfully hosted both the 1986 Seoul Asian Games and the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympic. It has played host to international sporting contests in football, marathon and track and field, as well as operas and music concerts.
