Jan Baptist Huysmans
Jan Baptist Huysmans (1654–1716), was an 18th-century painter from the Southern Netherlands.
Biography
He was born in Antwerp as the son of Hendrick Huysmans and Catharina van der Meyden.[1] He was the brother of Cornelis Huysmans and possibly influenced Cornelis' son Pieter Balthasar.[1] He is known for Italianate landscapes in the style of his brother. Hedied in Antwerp.
