Brauer's burrowing skink (Janetaescincus braueri ) is a species of skink in the family Scincidae.[2]
Etymology
The specific name, braueri, is in honor of German zoologist August Bernhard Brauer.[3]
Geographic range
J. braueri is found only in the Seychelles.[2]
Habitat
The natural habitats of Brauer's burrowing skink are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[2]
Conservation status
J. braueri is threatened by habitat loss.[2]
