Jannaram ( pronunciation )(Telugu : జన్నారం) is a big village in Enkoor Mandal. Jannaram is also a major Panchayat in Enkoor revenue division, with an area of 20.88 km2, four 3 miles from Enkoor(town). Jannaram boasts a long and vibrant history, with diversified people, castes, religions, traditions and historic merits. This village has originated on the Northern side of the river Wyra, surrounded by a mini reservoir in the northeastern side and the hills on its eastern side. Jannaram village has witnessed many events in the time of Telangana Vimochanam and Rajakar moments. Jannaram people had been listed over its long history.
The Jannaram is located on the banks of the river called Wyra river which is a tributary of the Krishna River. Nagarjuna Sagar left Canal and its sub canals run through Jannaram. Due to the presence of the Wyra river South and western sides and Sagar Canal on the eastern and northern side of Jannaram, the soil around here is very fertile and cultivated intensively. Jannaram is bounded by Anjanapuram village in the Southwest, Orikayalapdu village to the west, TL Peta, Enkoor villages and to the North and garlavoddu village to the east. Jannaram has a lot of historical importance in Enkoor. Jannaram, once which was the part of the larger Warangal District at the time of pre and post independence, until 1 October 1953 and it was under Kothagudem revenue division. Presently Jannaram is under Kothagudem revenue division or Taluk.
Economy
Jannaram is a major economic power in the Enkoor revenue division. Jannaram has solid fertile soil and irrigation is supported by the river of Wyra and Nagarjuna Sagar left canal. Jannaram has experienced a modest growth during the period of Chandra Babu Naidu ruling. As a major village in Enkoor, Jannaram is politically very active, sociologically dominant, agriculturally rich. Major source of income comes from Agriculture and other services. There is no commercial industry located in Jannaram. Jannaram produces almost all of the cotton, paddy, mrichi and all other commercial and cereals in Enkoor. Jannaram is a large paddy producer in Enkoor.
Demography of Jannaram
As of the 2011 Indian census,[1] Jannaram had a population of 3,900. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Jannaram has an average literacy rate of 78.50%, greater than the Mandal average. In Jannaram, 10% of the population are under 6 years of age. Most of well educated people well settled in towns and most of people in different high positions in different places.
Climate & Geography
Jannaram has a hot climate, specifically a tropical wet and dry climate, with warm conditions year-round. The period from mid April to late June (before the onset of the monsoon) is the hottest season of the year, with highs peaking in May at 41.4 °C (106.5 °F). During this time, winds that blow usually bring along clouds of dust, and people prefer staying indoors in the daytime and night times sticky in nature.
How to Reach Jannaram
Jannaram and Enkoor were well connected to major cities and towns in Khammam. A.P.S.R.T.C Khammam Dipo service provides many bus facilities to Jannaram directly from khammam. From Khammam, It is better to go catch a Bus for Enkkor, from enkoor to Jannaram there are number of auto rickshaws available for every 10 minutes. Rail connectivity from Khammam doesn't exists. 1 Hour journey from Khammam to Enkkor and Enkkor to Jannaram it takes only 10 minutes.

Major Temples
Jannaram includes many Temples, all these were recently constructed during the time of 2000.
- Sai Baba Temple: which was built in 2001. Which is the one of the most popular temples in Jannaram and it is located in the Patooru.
- Ramalayam this has been also recently constructed after 2001, it is located in Kotooru center.
- Venkateswara Swamy Temple it is located in Konai Palem.
- Hanuman Temple It is located in ST. Colony.
Educational institutions
Jannaram occupies a large amount of the educational infrastructure in Enkoor. There are 5 schools located around the Jannram village. Mandal Educational Officer(MEO) takes care of the government educational institutions as well as private.
