Jans Rautenbach is a South African screenwriter, film producer and director.[1] His 1968 film Die Kandidaat proved controversial and received some censorship in South Africa, because of perceived criticism of the apartheid system.[2] As of March 2014, he is currently directing Abraham, his first film in three decades. [3]
