Jarkko Hentula

Jarkko Hentula (born 1970) is a Finnish film producer and executive producer. Hentula has worked in over 40 features. Hentula is the Head of Feature Films in Yellow Film & TV production company.

Hentula studied at the University of Tampere, Journalism and Mass Communications, History and International Relations before taking a producer course in the Film and Television department at Helsinki's University of Art and Design. [1]

After graduation Hentula worked as production manager at MRP Matila & Röhr Productions.[1] He moved to their subsidiary, Talent House, in 2000. Duringthat time he produced Kivi & Kilpi (2000/2003), Julia's Truth (2001), and Pearls and Pigs. In 2004 Hentula started his own production company called Juonifilmi. He owned the company together with FS Film.[1]

In 2011 Hentula was appointed the head of feature films in Yellow Film & TV, a Finnish production company. They specialize in scripted TV production, movies, drama, comedy, entertainment and sports.[2]

Hentula served as Chairman of the Board for The Central Organisation of Finnish Film Producers beginning in January 2008.[1]
