Jaume Collboni Squared (Barcelona, 1969) is a Spanish politician, pleaded of profession and civil servant of the local Administration.[1]

The year 2010 goes in like deputy, by the province of Barcelona, in the Parliament of Catalonia and was appointed spokesman attach in the Parliamentary Group of the Socialists. In November 2011 was appointed Secretary of Communication and Spokesman of the PSC.[2] Later, in 2014, it left his seat to centre in the primary of the PSC for the city council of Barcelona. After this participatory process of primary, in which it attained the victory, was designated candidate to the city council of Barcelona by the Party of the Socialists of Catalonia.

Biography

Been born in Barcelona (1969), in the Baix Guinardó, although it also lived in the neighbourhoods of The Teixonera, the Gothic Neighbourhood, the New Village and the district of the Widen. His familiar origins, as the one of a lot of Catalans, confluye with the idea of diverse origins. His grandparents and uncles by part of mother proceed of the first migrations of Andalucia at the beginning of the 20th century.

Sindical path

Initiate his sindical activism in the assembly's movement and, when going in in the Faculty of Right of the University of Barcelona adds to the Association of Young Students of Catalonia (AJEC) of which #finish being his general secretary (1992 - 1995). Period in which it was member claustral of the University of Barcelona under the mandate of the rector Dr. Bricall. In 1996, it promoted the creation of the Technical Cabinet of UGT of Catalonia, of the that formed part of the National Direction of the union from 1998 until 2005, developing tasks in the fields of the communication, the culture, the international relations and of cooperation. During the same period, went one of the founders of the Centre of Economic and Social Investigation of Catalonia (CRESC). Of the 2001 to the 2005, went adviser in sindical representation of the Economic and Social Council of Spain.

Political path

Jaume Collboni ingresa in the Party of the Socialists of Catalonia in the year 1994. Two years later (1995-1999), was chosen spokesman of the district of Horta-Guinardó. Between the year 2005 and 2010 assumed the coordination of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Parliament of Catalonia.[3] From 2008, it forms part of the executive of the party. In December 2011, during the 12 º Congress of the PSC, was appointed Secretary of Communication and Spokesman of the party. In 2010 it was director of the electoral campaign of the PSC for the autonomic elections and, from this same year, went deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia and spokesman attach of the parliamentary group of the socialists and spokesman of the Commission of Company and Employment. It was speaker in the commission of the electoral law of Catalonia, and to his time, in the commission of the law of transparency and access to the public information.

In 2014 it presented like candidate to the primary, organised by the PSC, to be chosen candidate to the city council of Barcelona. It competed with his mates of party Carmen Andrés, Jordi Martí, Laia Bonet and Rocío Martínez-Sampere. Celebrated in the City Condal on 29 March 2014, the primary #finish with a first turn in which Collboni and Andrés were the most voted candidates and those that would happen to a second and definite round. In both rounds, Jaume Collboni was the most voted candidate.[4]
