Early life

Jay Beyers was raised in the rural community of North Liberty, Indiana by his mother Mary Ellen Smith[1] until he moved with his father Jeff Beyers[2] when he became a teenager.

Acting career

At the young age of thirteen he began his career, when he was cast as Jack in The Missoula Children's Theatre's production of Jack and the Beanstalk. He continued auditioning as a teenager and quickly increased his Theatrical resume while at Marian High School.[3] At Marian, Beyers received classical training and was exposed to David Mamet's "Practical Aesthetics" by then Theatre director Troy Dobosiewicz. His passion for the arts was noticed by his classmates, as he was voted: "Most likely to be on Broadway" by his graduation class at Marian High School. After high school, he continued a rigorous study of acting and received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago.[4] Following graduation, he quickly moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his acting career. He is best known for his roles in various The Asylum[5] films for the Syfy [6] Channel. He also is a voice of The Damned in the Electronic Arts video game Dante's Inferno.[7]
