Jean René Akono (born 4 August 1967) is a former Cameroonian male volleyball player and coach. He was part of the Cameroon men's national volleyball team at the 1990 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Brazil.[1] He played for Amacam.
After his career he became volleyball coach of the Cameroon women's national volleyball team, who played at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.
