Jitpur is a village development committee in Bara District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2572 people living in 607 individual households. It has a well-maintained buffalo market. Jitpur is a fast-growing town, the main occupations of local people being business and farming.
It is surrounded by twenty villages so it is famous for marketing . Many small and middle scale industries have been established in past five years and still companies yet to come because of better of man power , near to Kathmandu valley and most important nearer to India Custom.
