Jeffery Browning Hone (3 December 1850 in Ireland – 11 December 1888 in Ireland)[1] was an Irish cricketer. He played twice for Ireland in September 1879 against Philadelphia, scoring a total of 28 runs in the two match series.[2] The rest of his family played much more for Ireland. Two of his brothers, William and Thomas played for Ireland, as did three of his cousins, Leland, William and Nathaniel. Leland also played Test cricket for England.[1]
