Jeffrey O'Neill is a fictional character on CBS's daytime drama Guiding Light. He has been played by Bradley Cole from May 9, 2003 to September 18, 2009. Cole previously played the role of Richard Winslow on the show from 1999-2002.[1]
Character history
Jeffrey is currently married to Reva Shayne O'Neill and was previously was married to Olivia Spencer when she was on her death bed. He has two children, a daughter Ava Peralta with Olivia and a son Colin O'Neill with Reva. Jeffrey was also a grandfather to Maximus "Max" Lewis, Ava's son who died shortly after birth. Jeffrey is the stepfather to Reva's four other children, Dylan Lewis, Marah Lewis, Joshua "Shayne" Lewis, and Jonathan Randall. Jeffrey has previously had a relationship with Reva's sister Cassie and daughter Marah. In July 2009, he was presumed dead after a plane crash during his pursuit to find a recently revealed-to-be-alive Edmund Winslow, but soon after, he is revealed to have survived. Reva still doesn't know Jeffrey has survived due in part to him staying away from him as a result of Edmund's threat. By 2010 she reunited with her love Joshua Lewis, however their marriage was ended by his legal death.[2]
