Jeppiaar is an Indian educationist from Latin Catholic Christian Community, born on 11 June in Muttom (near Nagercoil), Travancore Cochin Presidency (now Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu).
Jeppiaar's (J.P.R.) full name is Jesadimai PangiRaj. He is the founder and Chairman of Jeppiaar Educational Trust and Founder and Chancellor of the famous Sathyabama University.
The president of the Consortium of Professional, Arts and Science Colleges of Tamil Nadu.[1]
