Jeremiah M. Wilson
Jeremiah Morrow Wilson (November 25, 1828 – September 24, 1901) was a U.S. Representative from Indiana.
Born near Lebanon, Ohio, Wilson completed preparatory studies. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar and practiced. He moved to Indiana and settled in Connersville and continued the practice of law. He served as judge of the court of common pleas 1860-1865.
Wilson was elected judge of the circuit court in October 1865 and served until his election to Congress.
Wilson was elected as a Republican to the Forty-second and Forty-third Congresses (March 4, 1871-March 3, 1875). He was not a candidate for reelection in 1874. He resumed the practice of his profession in Washington, D.C., where he died September 24, 1901. He was interred in Rock Creek Cemetery.
