Jeremy Harper

Jeremy Harper is a man living in Birmingham, Alabama, who is in the Guinness Book of World Records for counting to one million. Harper counted for approximately 16 hours per day until he finished. Harper began his quest to count to one million on June 18, 2007.[1] During the counting process, Harper did not leave his apartment or shave until he was finished counting to one million. Viewers could watch him live on the website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for free. During his count, he appeared on CNN, Fox News, Cnet, as well as many national and local TV and radio shows. On September 14, 2007 at 7:25 p.m. EST he reached one million.

The count raised money for his supporting charity Push America,[2] raising over $10,000.

He still resides in Birmingham, and now works for Ready Mix and Birmingham Mountain Radio.

The MillionCount website and forum were taken down several months after completing the count.
