Jerry Seelen, whose real name is Jerome Seelen, was an American writer and lyricist born March 11, 1912 and died September 12, 1981 in San Diego (California).[1]
He wrote lyrics for songs in the 1940s and screenplays for film and television in the 1950s and 1960s.
In 1950, he wrote the English lyrics to the French song C'est si bon for the first American recording of this song which is sung by Louis Armstrong with Sy Oliver and his Orchestra. The French lyrics were written by André Hornez in 1947.
