Jesper Jansson (born January 8, 1971 in Växjö) is a retired professional footballer from Sweden, who played as a defender and a midfielder during his career. He was sporting director at Helsingborgs IF 2008-2015 and is currently head scout at F.C. Copenhagen.[1] He was a member of the Sweden national football team competing at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Jansson earned one cap for the national team, making his only appearance on February 20, 1994 during the Joe Robbie Cup match against the United States.
