Jewels Of Rhythm is a percussion music album composed by T S Nandakumar.It consists of instrumental music followed by well structured Laya Vinyasam composed in Sankeerna Chappu Thalam.It includes string instruments like Violin,Tambura,woodwind instrument like Flute,percussion instruments like Mridangam,Thavil,Kanjira,Ghatam,Morsing and Konnakol.

Development

Nandakumar was interested in promoting his students so he decided to compose an album and he was very particular that in his album the performance of percussion instruments should be his students and he did it.He trained his students in the percussion instruments like Mridangam,Kanjira,Ghatam,Morsing,Thavil and Konnakol and put all his efforts for giving in-depth and advanced training to his young disciples who have provided percussion support in this album.The Unique part in this album is all the percussion instruments including konnakol is performed by his students.This album was a big success.Then he composed more volumes of this album.He composed total three volumes.After the release of this album he quoted "Music is like an ocean which never ends so its learning process never ends".All this composition and training was done in India,Mumbai.
