Jhandapur is a village in Sirathu Tehsil of Kaushambi district in Utter Pradesh, India. Jhandapur is situated between the main railway line of the Delhi-Howrah route and the Grand Trunk Road. Shujatpur is the nearest railway station. It is 10 km from Sirathu, 12 km from Manjhanpur, the district headquarters of Kaushambi, and around 50 km from Allahabad. Jhandapur has a population of around 2000, of which 85% are Muslims and 15% are Hindus. The Muslims belong to the Ghosi community and the Hindus are from SC tribes. The main occupation of the people is agriculture.
