Jia Yueyue and Jia Panpan

Jia Yueyue and Jia Panpan are twin Pandas born at the Toronto Zoo on October 13, 2015. The pandas went on public exhibit at the zoo on March 12 2016.[1]

Naming

Their Chinese names mean Canadian Hope (for Jia Panpan) and Canadian Joy (for Jia Yueyue). [2] Their names were revealed on March 7, 2016.[3] In March 2016, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended their naming ceremony at the zoo.[4]
