Jiji people

Jiji refers to an ethnic and linguistic group based in Ujiji in Kigoma Region, Tanzania. In 1987 the Jiji population was estimated to number 12,000. However, Ethnologue has subsequently determined that no solid evidence can be found for the existence of a distinct Jiji language, and proposes that Jiji is actually one with Ha .
