Jim Hanna (born October 2, 1967) is an American actor. He is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. After earning a theatre degree at the University of Nebraska, Jim moved to L.A., where he earned an MFA from the USC Actor Training Program. The last ten years have seen Jim become a familiar face with countless commercial appearances, as well as many TV and film roles. He appears regularly onstage as a member of The Production Company at the Lex Theatre, is a regular performer at Slap & Tickle sketch comedy shows, and is also the creator of the web series Jeff the Cat: Merchant of Darkness. He stars in the most recent line of commercials, from Cox Communications. He plays the role of a father who tries to bond with his son at every opportunity.
