James "Jim" Joseph Johnson was a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer of the 1910s, playing at representative level for New Zealand (#102), and Hawke's Bay, as a loose forward/lock, i.e. number 13, during the era of contested scrums.[1][2][3]

Johnson represented New Zealand in 1913 against New South Wales.
