James E. Robertson was an American football player and coach. He played college football at Dartmouth College from 1919 to 1921, serving as captain of the Dartmouth Big Green football team in 1920 and 1921.[1] He served as the line coach at Dartmouth in 1922 and then as the head football coach at Oglethorpe University in 1923.[2] Robertson attended high school in Somerville, Massachusetts.[3]
