Jirayu Tangsrisuk (Thai: จิรายุ ตั้งศรีสุข), better known by his nickname James (เจมส์), is a Thai actor. He starred in the popular Thai television soap opera, Khunchai Puttipat, part of the Suparbburut Juthathep series, which tracks the lives of royal descendants of the fictional Juthathep family.[1][2]
Biography
Early Life
Jirayu Tangsrisuk was born on September 19, 1993 in Phichit Province, Thailand. He has one older sister and comes from a Thai-Chinese family.
Education
He is currently studying at Rangsit University's Faculty of Communication Arts.[3]
Career
James was recruited into the entertainment industry by Meta Talent Management Agency founder, Charnchalard "Pik" Dhaweesap (Charnchalard Dhaweesap), who saw James' photos on Facebook and has since become his personal manager.[1][2] James made his acting debut with a lead role of a movie "First Love" and in a special period drama Gentlemen of Jutathep Series in 2013. This special series made to celebrate ThaiTV3's 43rd anniversary, which assigned five top producers to each make a period drama about the five Jutathep brothers: Khun Chai Taratorn, Khun Chai Pawornruj, Khun Chai Phuttipat, Khun Chai Rachanon and Khun Chai Ronapee. He won the 2013 Spotlight award, as determined by readers of the OK! Magazine.[4] In 2013, Advanced Info Service (AIS) signed a 14 million baht advertising deal with James.[5] He is currently sign under by Channel 3 network. James is working on his debut single album in Japan by Universal Japan Record. He has been practicing in singing, dancing, and learning Japanese. He say he want to try something new and it's a good experiences.
