Jiří Zedníček (born February 14, 1945) is former basketball player. He represented Czechoslovakia national team in several Eurobaskets and 1972 Summer Olympics.[1] At the Eurobasket 1967 he was named MVP.[2] With the national team he won silver medal at Eurobasket in Finland 1967, and bronze medal at Eurobasket in Italy 1969. In 1969, he and his team has won the Cup Winer's Cup. He was also a member of All-European Team (All-Star Team) in 1966, 1967, 1969, 1971 and 1972. In 1970 with the National team, he finished 6th in the Basketball World Championship (1974-10th).
