Jitendra Mishra (born 9 September 1979) is an Indian film producer and consultant, hails from Titlagarh of Odisha, India, known for "I am Kalam" & "Desires of the Heart".

Early life

He was born in Titlagarh, A small town in Western Odisha to Radha Madhab Mishra and Saudamini Mishra.A joint family of 8 members where Jitendra is the youngest.In 2000 did his Graduation in Law & Masters in commerce from Sambalpur University and went to Delhi with a dream to do something different from the monotonous lifestyle of a small town.

Career

Jitendra started his career as a production manager in a Delhi based production house. In 2002, he founded a production house in the name of Flair Communications and his company became one of the leading Film production & Consultancy Company in India, already produced more than 100 successful Ad films, Short Films and Feature films over the period of 10 years, many of them have received international recognition. Jitendra Mishra is also known for critically acclaimed film “I am Kalam”, produced by Smile Foundation and directed by Nila Madhab Panda which has got more than 30 international awards and 20 nominations in different categories.Award winning Hollywood film "Desires of the Heart", "Chausar" and "AASMA" are few among others.He has also been the Marketing/Promotion/ World Distribution consultant of the film “Desires of the Heart”, produced by Solila Parida, DOTH Entertainment LLC and directed by award winning director James Kicklighter, starring Val Lauren & Alicia Minshaw & World sales/distribution consultant for award winning film 'Kajarya' , directed by Madhureeta Anand & produced by Starfire Movies. His company has picked up, the Hindi feature film Chausar for worldwide distribution, directed and produced by legendary Film maker / writer Sagar Sarhadi . Sagar Sarhadi is known for “Kabhi Kabhi” and “Silsila” both starring Amitabh Bachchan, Chandni, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (First film of Hritik Roshan), Deewana (First film of Sahrukh Khan), Faasle, Karobaar, Rang, Lorie, Karmayogi, Doosara Aadmi, Inkaar, Zindagi, Anubhav and many others. Jitendra Mishra has designed and implemented several international festivals, workshops and campaigns including North East Film festival in all the 8 North East States of India, for Children’s Film Society India in association with Smile Foundation. He has been a Member of Producers Network during the 67th & 68th Cannes film festival.He has also been associated with Smile Foundation, An India-based development organization, as the media adviser for last nine years.
