She has appeared on the BBC's What To Do With The House (When The Kids Leave) and ITV's 60-Minute Makeover, among others[6][7] and has worked with Virgin Money UK,[8][9] First Time Buyer Online [10] and in September 2013 was listed among the UK's "100 best experts" by Amara - The Lux Pad.[11] She makes regular contributions to the media, including Metro[12] and the BBC,[13] on interior design issues.[14]
She has been a brand ambassador for Bosch Power Tools[15][16] - also known as Robert Bosch GmbH - and in October 2013 became brand ambassador for Dulux.[17][18] In 2014 homewares chain HomeSense commissioned Jo to open a series of new stores across England,[19] at sites including Cheltenham,[20] Solihull[21][22] and Salisbury.[23] The following year Jo appeared in Sky Living six-part series Who'd Be a Billionaire?[24][25][26] along with several other high-end interior designers. The 'talking heads' programme explored the spending habits of the 'super rich'.[27][28]
She is the director of Jo Hamilton Interiors[29] and runs regular interior design courses at five-star London venues that have included Charlotte Street Hotel and The Sanderson Hotel.[30] She carries out work for residential and commercial properties and has also designed interiors for yachts and private jets.[31]
